Overview

a tool called Enterprise Security Manager 5.5 (ESM) available from Symantec.

deploys and optimises the benefits of ESM, policy management solution. The key is
to improve information security environments in an effective cost-efficient manner,
in order to enable business confidence and success.
ESM defines acceptable activities and system configuration standards for a diverse set
of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux,
NetWare and more. Companies can use ESM to automatically check for security policy
violations and generate concise reports in many formats.
