Symantec's Intruder Alert (ITA) 3.6 tool delivers a comprehensive host based IDS solution, it monitors systems in real time to detect security breaches and suspicious activity. Responding automatically to defined intrusion rules. ITA is able to monitor user activity, file changes, application, registry and operating system logs for symptoms of intrusion in real time. ITA also fully integrates with Symantec NetProwler to provide a complete IDS solution for protecting the enterprise network.
